However, since the mission is very wide, the MDC Children Ministry has decided to focus its mission on two elements only. At least for year 2004-2005.
Our mission this year will be directed towards the Leaders and the Children.
John Maxwell says that the rise and fall of everything is depended on the leadership. We found it right. So, instead of grabing anyone else, we decided to start our mission by strengthening the leaders.
What are the criterias which make a children leader good ?
1. Leaders should know and grasp the vision
2. Leaders should be in a spiritually fit condition
3. Leaders should be cooperative to work together in a solid teamwork
4. Leaders should recruit and disciple others
5. Leaders should have the heart to study more
6. Leaders should care for thechildren
7. Leaders should be open for evaluation and appreciation
The second mission to consider is the children. After all, children is our main business. How can we ignore them ?
What do we have to consider in our mission for the children ?
1. Children's Programmes
2. Children's Lessons Curriculum
3. Children's Fellowships
4. Children's Leadership Trainings
5. Children's Activity Evaluations
This is not an easy work. But we believe, in our fellowship with God, to fulfill His purpose in us, our work will not be in vain. Let His name be glorified. Amen.
